Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best famous for his role on the popular TV show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. While at college Christopher Meloni was attracted to the world of acting. He pursued a degree in acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he has appeared in movies and on television however, it's his characters portrayed on small screens which have earned him acclaim. He is able to play characters from both good and bad sides in the law enforcement system. He has the ability to attract the attention of his audience easily. His first project was a TV serial and later, he played a detective for the NYPD. Because of his appearances on smaller screens, he has received multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. Eyes that are piercing blue on his eyes are thought to be his most attractive feature. These have been used to portray rough characters and make them more appealing. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
